Our Flat Roofing service makes use of the market-leading Firestone EPDM Roofing System. The main component of the Firestone EPDM Roofing System is Rubber Cover EPDM.

This 100% cured single-ply roofing membrane is made of synthetic rubber ethylene-polypropylene-diene terpolymer mixed with carbon black, clay, oils, curing agents and processing aids. Firestone Rubber Cover EPDM is the ideal, highly durable waterproofing solution for low-slope/ flat roofs.

Huge Life Expectancy

Firestone Rubber Cover EPDM membranes offer unmatched resistance to ozone, UV radiation and extreme temperatures. As the membrane does not contain any plasticisers or flame retardants, its characteristics remain stable and unchanged over time. Studies show a life expectancy of more than 50 years.

High Flexibility and Elongation

Firestone Rubber Cover EPDM remains highly flexible even at temperatures down to -45 C, enabling year-round installation. The membrane can also elongate over 300% to accommodate building movements and temperature fluctuations.

Superior Durability

Firestone Rubber Cover requires little or no maintenance. If needed, Rubber Cover EPDM membranes can be easily repaired using the Firestone Quick Seam Tape products, even after decades of service. This feature, combined with the inherent durability and competitive installed cost of Rubber Cover EPDM roofing systems, result in a very low life-cycle costs.
